Prism Kites, a Seattle kite manufacturing company, wanted to put its entire product line in an ecommerce store, with an updated web presence. We built a robust and powerful WordPress and WooCommerce backend that gives Prism the ability to manage the site, sales and inventory. It interfaces with QuickBooks Online and looks great on phones. Our talented client took almost all the photos and was the graphic designer. We did these bits:
This website for a class of wooden sailboats replaced a 12 year old site that didn't look good on phones, was missing basic functionality, and was all around outdated.
This replaced a 10 year old WordPress site that had some serious technical issues.
To keep costs down, Hilltop staff members (with no prior web development experience) wrote the content, optimized the photos, created the layouts, and basically built every page.
Actual Websites did the project management and the technical tasks. We kept in close touch with the Hilltop staff, walking them through every step of the project. It was a beautiful collaboration.
